Wolf rust gambling12/16/2023 ![]() If it's currently in the purple region then bet on 10, if it's currently in the red region then bet on 20, if it's on one of the yellow ticks you can bet on 1 if you want but it's still about 50-50 TLDR: If you follow this guide you will profit in the long run. If anybody has any further information on this topic then please join the discussion! I hope this information is helpful and saves somebody from wasting their evening looking for patterns. The only way to do this is if you're trying to cheat on a server with zero human players, and if you're doing that you can just give yourself scrap using admin privs. Even if it were possible to find the seed used by a Rust server and to predict the RNG sequence (which is virtually impossible in itself), you'd still need to know exactly how many times that RNG has been used to generate random numbers for things that are not roulette spins. HYPOTHETICALLY there could be predictability in the Unity random number generator, but personally I think that's very unlikely because that kind of exploit is usually used to crack encrypted messages, not cheat at videogame roulette.ĮDIT: One thing that keeps coming up in the replies is that the roulette wheel is not the only thing Rust servers generate random numbers for. There isn't even a random number generator deciding the final number chosen, because the whole thing works by applying virtual force to a virtual wheel and letting it spin according to physics. There's no sequence of numbers that gets looked up, there's no patterns built in. ![]() The number it generates is a random value between 7.0 and 10.0 every time. The force is chosen using the standard built-in Unity function. I don't know if posting the server code itself is allowed so instead let me post my own explanation of how the spin code works:ĭoSpin() I decided to see for myself how the Rust server chooses its numbers for the roulette wheel, and I think that these people are wasting their time. I've seen a lot of speculation about the Bandit Camp roulette wheel lately, with people posting videos and streams of themselves spending hours and hours watching the wheel and looking for patterns. I'm writing some Rust server mods and it involves looking at the Rust server code.
